Dismantling the left liberal knee jerk reaction on Terror

Marxists/Leftists love to espouse the theory that terrorism is a result of poverty, deprivation or illiteracy. I piss on such obnoxious and blatantly false notions. I can cite many reasons against this theory as i believe it is the sighting of flying unicorns that has caused so many in-breeds to loose sanity and trigger bombs. what? you think I am not serious? 

Irrespective of religion, religious fervor seems to be directly related to prosperity or aspiration to prosperity. being stickler to religious edicts is very very expensive in modern day world. it is. bulk of rabid evangelists are prosperous enough to have a lot of free time to think about this nonsense and have the financial means to live the "biblical/quranic/vedic/bauddhic/oshoist lifestyle", as god prescribed. faking poverty, rusticity, simplicity etc., is big business, that has made those who can provide this illusion very rich. at a certain level of prosperity, showing off that you are living upto the standards of good old traditions of a religion is a status symbol. i've gadi. i've bangla. i've bhakti. but the underlying message invariably is - more importantly, i've the money to buy these.

As Wheelan, Charles says in Naked Statistics: Stripping the Dread from the DataTerrorists are not desperately poor, or poorly educated. The author, Princeton economist Alan Krueger, concludes, “Terrorists tend to be drawn from well-educated, middle-class or high-income families.”  

Unless people are fully aware who their working gods are, people tend to idolize false gods - be it allah, jehovah, 'BooDa', or venkateshwara. Also want to point out, that some of these gods are sexier than others, 'BooDa' more than mahaveera, for example. any one who knows half as much will tell you that mahaveera and his descendants more closer to rationalism than booDa. allah and mohammad being the farthest from it all - much more rationalism and logic in village gods and neighbourhood shaamans than is there in islam. but must say, bulk of spirituality is all about the PR message not about spirituality itself. allah & mohammad & all the associated piety around them have nothing to do with spirituality imho.

In India one sees many Indian Muslims who are very pious, very orthodox. That in fact is creation of Islamic capital which harms the Kufr, the Hindus, much less, than when Muslims receive secular education and are brought up in a more liberal environment, because then these Muslims have no Islamic capital and the chances for them to turn radical are much higher. So those pleading for more secular education for the Muslim youth need to keep this into consideration.

It doesn't mean that all Muslims receiving secular education would turn radical. As long as the Muslim is not confronted with the pressures of Islamic society, and remains integrated in Kufr society, he would of course remain "a productive member of the Kufr society", but it is easy to get disillusioned considering the many ills that also affect Kufr society, and then there is no telling how radical the Muslim may turn once he discovers the mosque and introspection tells him how little Islamic capital he possesses.

In such a situation, the probability is high that the "introspecting" Muslim would shift the blame for his lack of Islamic capital onto the Kufr society of which he had been a part, and act vengefully towards it. Moreover the orthodox pious Muslim society has often been the preserve of the poor Ajlaf Muslims, and in his drive to earn Islamic capital quickly as well as his tendency to look at Islam more intellectually rather than spiritually or mystically, being educated and deracinated, the chances are also high that he would decide for the radical political Islam - hard Islamism, rather than simply piety.

As long as the currency used is piety, it does not hurt the Kufr, but under Islam, it is easy to try to earn Islamic currency in other ways, and if it is through showing dominance through means of conquering mind, human or geographic space belonging to the Kufr, then it does become a problem for Kufr.Conquering mind always has been an issue with Islam, unlike the X'tian missionaries who have developed a sophisticated modus operandi to seed in their thoughts by piggy backing modernity & secularism as their unique & sole gifts. 


My second hypothesis is that Terrorists come from Pakistan. They dont need to be educated or illiterate, rich or poor. Kasab for example was illiterate and poor. I am sure that his compatriots who were given their 72 by NSG were illiterate and poor too. The key difference between India and the west is that only rich and literate people get visas to western countries. If they shared a border with Pakistan, they would get poor and illiterate terrorists too -- like India and Afghanistan. If you purely base your data set on failed and successful terror attacks by :cough: abrahamic religion terrorists :cough: most probably they were immigrants. And most probably the immigrants were upper middle class with good education. And most probably second gen immigrants. Terrorists, "retire" by around 50 or so (less testosterone? less drive? short life expectancy?) so if you are a first gen immigrant who is poor, you probably have crossed 50 and it is left to your son to carry on your torch. A first gen immigrant below 40, is most probably a student and/or businessman who can travel freely and by definition is educated and/or reasonably well off.

ofcourse in pakistan, with its day to day vocab which glorifies heinous concepts like junoon, jasba, shahid, ghazi etc., the poison is more widely spread than other countries. most 'SDRE' (Short ,dark, rice eating Indians as Tall, fair & tight bummed Pakis like to call us) idiots, out of instinct, will tell you to keep a lid on your jasba, junnon, and on your baser instincts such as kaama, lobha, madha, maatsarya. well, in islamic nations particularly Pakistan you earn marks of significance for curbing your own common sense and acting on these exact instincts. this junnon and jasba in suppressing your own common sense and becoming a becoming a ghazi earns you the highest number of points possible.The "educated middle class terrorist" is a myth created due to immigration policies. Pakistan produces terrorists of all economic and educational backgrounds without any discrimination.

I have seen Hindus, Muslims or X'tians for whom god is not a decoration or a bragging right but an integral part of their rustic simple lives. but these guys are all piss poor and miserable. not destitute, but miserable and spartan by choice, and not by paying an architect or a designer to recreate it.

Intellectual terrorism, subversion of history & nonsense of pluralism in India

This is the most systematic and potent subverions of all. The idea is to kill the sense of belonging, cut the roots from the family tree, the thought process and ideaology of culture and Chritian missionaris alongwioth communists have been very successful at that. The Biggest culprit are - The Historians and the educated elite( off course with western education).
SOmetimes back in one of my notes(Religious or bigot) i made a point about the perception of ruling class and the subjects. Moreoften than not the success of arms is taken as the success of culture. As a result the native educated class tries to behave as the ruling class and start rejecting their own culture so that they are seen closer to rulers. They start looking down on their own people and culture, this is waht happened with India and Nehru was no different , he was a Fake Hindu and Brown sahib and his romance with Fabian socialism mixed with communist ideology gave alot of oxygen to idiots like Romilla thapar and other marxist historians who distorted the history and said it from the POV of Anglo - Saxons
Let us take academia first. What are the falsehoods that they have propagated to subvert the very idea of a nation? They have I think done two things. They have fragmented the Hindu consciousness so that a very significant section of the Hindu community has been placed outside of national borders, and many other sections have been placed outside the Hindu community itself.

By propagating the theory of the Aryan invasion, Indian academia, dominated by the Marixists, have successfully placed a significant section of the Hindu community outside national borders. And this is not something peculiar to India. This Aryan Invasion Theory was a colonial construct. It is a White Christian construct. And they have played this game in North America too, where they have had this ridiculous Baring Straits Theory, which said that the native Americans whom they almost exterminated through genocide and Christian colonialism, where themselves were migrants from elsewhere.

That is to say they propagated the Aryan Invasion Theory here because the intellectuals among the Hindu elite who were in the forefront of resisting the colonial invasion, the colonial administration turned the argument back at them saying you yourself have come as a migrant to India, it is just that we have come a little more recently. To justify the genocide of the Native Americans, the White colonial research which came out of Harvard and Smithsonian placed the native American population outside the North American continent, and said that: “You people came here several centuries ago maybe, but you are as much migrants as we are. There is no such thing as a native American population. You are a migrant. We are a later-day migrant.”

How could EMS Naboodripad have gone running to the Soviet ambassador when his homeland or motherland or matra-bhumi was being attacked. You must understand Islam, Christianity and communism (which was a virulent reaction to Christian capitalism), none of the three ideologies or philosophies subscribe to the concept of homeland, motherland or matra-bhumi. These are aggressive conquering ideologies. They believe all territories are open for conquest.
It is only the Hindus and Jews who are born into their faiths in a territory which they call their own who have the concept of matra-bhumi or homeland. The other three philosophies or ideologies do not subscribe to the idea of homeland. So by placing a significant section of Hindu community outside national borders, and by declaring that dalits and tribals are not part of the Hindu community, the Indian Marxist academia has fragmented the Hindu consciousness.

Subversion Through “Pluralism”

Hindu dharma has always believed in diversity. We don’t need this Christian colonial construct of pluralism inside India. We have always been diverse. Pluralism is “multi-culturalism” which is the new term in use in Western democracy. This pluralism or multi-culturalism is about accommodating the indigestible elements of your society who refuse to become part of the mainstream. These elements do not consider this territory as their matra-bhoomi and do not subscribe to Sanatana Dharma or Hinduism. These elements insist that they will live as indigestible elements but they seek accommodation within the broader diverse parameters of Hindu dharma.

These are the pluralist elements and when White Christian colonial Western democracies promote the concept of pluaralism, this is for non-White, non-Christian democracies like India whereas they are rejecting multi-culturalism in their own countries. The Australian prime minister is saying subscribe to the Australian culture. The British prime minister is saying, subscribe to the British culture. Australian culture, British culture, American culture, please understand, is White Christian culture, whether Catholic or Protestant. And immigrants or migrants who seek residence or citizenship in their countries, it is demanded of them that they have proficiency in the English language and they subscribe to the broad cultural values which are rooted in White Christianity.

And this pluralism they want India to accept as an integral part of Indian policy, and it is this intellectual subversion that has launched Sonia Gandhi into the forefront of Indian polity. I personally consider the presence of Sonia Gandhi in Indian polity as much an affront to my Hindu sensibilities as the question by idiot and illetrate Karunanidhi(He studied till calss iii or V , I have to confirm) regarding Ram. Does he have the guts to question the same regarding Muhammed?

Longings are another story altogether. What do we seek? Escape from whom? Self? Are you so boring that you can't bear your own company? Why would someone else bear it in that case? Longing largely can be of 

1. Wanting to belong 

2. Desire to be understood

3. Desire to sing your song and not being judged over the quality of voice or mastery of music, only the story matters..

4. Desire to procreate or leave progeny to carry family link..

Painful dawdling cessation of anger

Today , I remembered my father. It's not that I don't think about him other days but today was a little different. I have always had a Torrid relationship with him. I was forever angry with him for sending me to a boarding school, that anger multiplied whenever someone I loved would complaint 'lack of emotions' in me. I would always blame him as boarding made me independent very soon, made me learn that nothing lasts forever. Best of friends are the ones I made at school,who fought odds with me at an age of 4yrs thus giving me healthy skepticism for overt and loud display of love. There was a part of me that would always stay personal. Crying in front of anyone was strict no no. As a result many a relationship broke away, they wanted men who would emote and I could not. I blamed my father for this. 

Today after what I see all around me or the pain I have undergone with loss of friends, family members,  relationships & his own death, if I am still sane and alive, it is because of  what I learnt during school. Aloneness does not mean loneliness. Sometimes it's the only right choice. I am one with myself.

I have so many moments of anger in my memory. He threw me out of house with Rs100 in pocket. I landed in Delhi, found a job and sent him back his Rs100 with interest along with my salary slip. He kept that salary slip for 9 long years, so proud he was. I do realise today that I was so much in awe of  him, so afraid and so much wanted to live up to his expectations that despite all the anger I would do anything to get his approval, even if it meant I gave up my bachelorhood in a second. The crowd of people around him, always few thousands. Once embarrassed the Governer Motilal Vora so much when people saw my father they deserted the Governer and Chief minister. 

He would walk kilometres every day with people, eating at poor villager homes, drinking unhygienic water. I would fight with him worried over his health. He would laugh and say ,"The destiny of ice is to melt and mix with water. I am born here and would die on this land." Loss of my elder brother, sister or his own younger brother never broke him down. He was true believer of Bhagvat Geeta. I once fought with him saying that he loved none except his own self. He never uttered a word. Today, when I hear same things about myself, I understand why it's difficult to display emotions. We grew up in a land surrounded by guns and people ready to kill at sign of weakness, it is death. 

I remember being afraid of the dark; I liked my father's attempt to cure me of this fear. He took me on a nighttime tour of our house, armed with a flashlight, which he used to light up the far corners of every single closet, every single dark storage place—showing me that there was nothing frightening hiding in the darkness. Once he rode me to the fields on Horse back, asked me to get down, handed over a torch and asked me to find my way home. I was 9, met him after 4 years. Afraid, crying, tripping, I made my way back in the middle of the night. Yes I was chased by village dogs too. Fought with a torch in hand.

It was long later that he told me that he was watching me over every step, narrated things that I did on way. I never feared anything after that, even death.

A second cluster of scenes comes from my adolescent years, when I was sixteen and seventeen. In 1993, after not seeing my father for 2 years, I renewed contact with an idealist socialist father who both intimidated and fascinated me. I especially remember the summer of 1994 which I spent in his house with my grandfather & mother . By this time, I had lost the child's unthinking adoration of the parent. With the critical spirit typical of my age, I perceived his faults, perhaps the most obvious being what was also responsible for his great intellectual productivity—his self-absorption regarding his work. In this act of my memories, the motor cycle rides give way to Horse rides, as I rode besides him feeling the wind on my face and, on one occasion, listen to him explain the difference between the established wealthy and the nouveaux riches. Sometimes he becomes almost my peer, once showing me the wonders of his Bullet by squeezing the accelarator and then capsizing the bike, fortunately with no harmful consequence other than a small cut on his ankle. But it is not examples of his love of throbbing Enfield or mass of farmers that most appear on my mind-stage. The image that most impressed me then and that rises before me now is that of a muscular figure of energy and determination, overflowing with ambitious plans for the future, envisioning roads, schools, industries  that would cut through official distortions to produce uncompromising versions of the truth as his logical mind perceived it. 

Out of all this came the search for, the demand for, absolute autonomy as far as I am concerned. That has been mostly seen as uncaring. The great energies the search has demanded and created, the burdens of loneliness that often accompanied it, and the difficulties of achieving any durable and really deep "human relations" have thus arisen out of quite specific social and cultural contexts. Intellectually I saw with Gudiya or kalyan "I see but one rule: to be clear. If I am not clear, all my world crumbles.".Thus intellectually and culturally I am as "self-made" as it is possible to be. As a friend of mine used to say, "a mushroom." The fact that I seized these academic standards and internalized them deeply meant, in turn, a further cutting off of self from my family background and the social setting at large as well. By the time I went to college, I think no one I had previously known, including family members, really counted for me as a point of reference. I was cut off and alone, and I felt it at the time.

Today, I am back where it all began, Sometimes I feel I am home, alone may be not lonely though. I do understand the contribution of The Man, my father in making me what I am beyond my Looks. This is my cross to bear & mine alone. People seeking dependents & suckers find me abhorring. So be it..  

Neti Neti

When asked about existence of God, our wise men said , "Neti Neti" and most of the people feel they are denying the existence of GOD. Well, this is partially correct not fully. We must look at the context in which the word is used.

Upanishads use the word Neti Neti to mean that God is beyond imagination, thought, form, finite or infinite. We can not describe him as we can not imagine anything like that. we can not imagine anything like him because we have not seen anything like him/her. Imagination is limited to the understanding of mind.

So what does the word mean? Here is a perspective

When you are balanced, you are a sage. When the balance is lost, you are lost, you have become a sinner. Sin is not something that you do, sin is something that happens within you when the balance is lost. It is not an act, it is an inner balance. It is what Mahavira has called samyaktva – inner balance; neither this nor that, what the Upanishads have called neti, neti –not this, not that. Just in between – neither moving to this, nor moving to that, because if you move, even a slight movement which nobody can detect except you… 

Remember this: nobody can detect your inner balance. Only you can detect it, it is so subtle! But even a slight movement and you are no longer at peace, you are no longer at home, you have lost the divine. Because what does a slight leaning mean? It means you have chosen. It means a distinction is made. It means you have said “This is good, that is bad.” It means expectation has come in. It means desire has sprouted. It means now you are motivated and will not hesitate to exploit emotions, thought, Body or presence.
